Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

REAL Academy is a professional training institute serving the real estate and property sector in Cyprus. This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all enrolments in our training programmes, including Volume-Based (ANAD-subsidised) Programmes, Premium CPD Programmes, and Corporate & Bespoke Programmes.

We are committed to delivering high-quality, sector-focused training. We understand that professional and organisational circumstances may change, and we assess all refund and cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis, with fairness and transparency.

2. General Principles

All refund and cancellation requests are reviewed individually, taking into account the specific circumstances of the participant or organisation, the type and format of the programme, the timing of the request relative to the programme start date, and any applicable ANAD/HRDA subsidy terms and conditions.

REAL Academy does not operate a fixed-window automatic refund policy. Each request is evaluated on its own merits, and we aim to respond to all enquiries within 5 business days.

3. How to Submit a Request

All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

Please include your full name, the programme title and scheduled date, your organisation (if applicable), the reason for your request, and any supporting documentation.

4. How to Submit a Request

4.1 Volume-Based (ANAD/HRDA-Subsidised) Programmes

These programmes are delivered under the formal training schemes of the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA/ANAD). Refund eligibility may be subject to ANAD rules and subsidy recovery obligations. Where a participant or sponsoring organisation has benefited from an ANAD subsidy, cancellations may require notification to ANAD and could result in partial or full recovery of the subsidy grant. REAL Academy will advise participants on any ANAD-related implications before confirming a refund decision.

4.2 Premium CPD Programmes (RICS-Aligned)

These are structured courses aligned with the Continuing Professional Development requirements of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Given the scheduled nature of delivery and the cost of expert facilitation, refund requests will be considered in light of the notice period provided and whether course materials or access have already been made available to the participant.

4.3 Corporate & Bespoke Programmes

For single-company or tailored in-house programmes, cancellations are governed by the specific terms set out in the service agreement signed between REAL Academy and the client organisation. In the absence of a specific contractual provision, the general case-by-case policy applies.

4.4 On-Demand / Recorded Modules

Given the digital and immediately accessible nature of on-demand content, refunds for pre-recorded modules will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as a technical failure preventing access or a documented error in the course content.

5. Cancellation by REAL Academy

REAL Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a programme due to insufficient enrolment, unavailability of a trainer, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, enrolled participants will be offered a full refund or a transfer to an equivalent future programme at no additional cost.

REAL Academy is a trading name of N&T Real Learning & Development Ltd, a private limited liability company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus on 16 April 2026, with registration number HE 491176 (Organisation number: 676155), under the Companies Law, Cap. 113. This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and applicable European Union consumer protection and educational services regulations.

N&T Real Learning & Development Ltd operates in compliance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and relevant Cypriot legislation. As our services are primarily directed at business professionals and organisations (B2B), the standard 14-day consumer withdrawal right may not apply in all circumstances. Participants enrolled through corporate or institutional agreements are advised to refer to their applicable contractual terms.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable Cypriot or EU law.

N&T Real Learning & Development Ltd is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the cancellation of a programme, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or opportunity costs incurred by participants.
